This project was born from the simple fact that some tarps on frames do not last more than a year or two when you live up north and get a lot of snow.
We were looking to create a top that was really strong, would not leak, would also shed the snow easily, and could last for 10 years or more.
The result is a great looking shelter, that has the added benefits of being much more sturdy and allowing lots of light all day long.
As we move into the fall season, not only have we decided to offer this as a full polycarbonate kit, but we are offering it at a significant discount before the snow falls, to give you the opportunity to protect all of your equipment this fall and winter.
The top is available on it's own as the picture shows, and you can decide if you want to finish the last 4' to the ground with our poly wall kit, or you can finish it any way that you would like.
What do the Kits Include?
The Roof Kits include the 4x12 8mm clear twin wall poly sheets, 8' poly snap connectors, 8' poly H connectors, 8' poly end caps, screws with washers to secure them to the 2x4 rib framing, and transparent 2 sided tape.
The Wall Kits include the 4x8 6mm clear twin wall poly sheets, 8' poly H connectors, 8' poly end caps and screws with rubber washers to secure them to the 2x4 rib framing.
We also include the step by step instructions for the 2x4 ribs, how to mark and fasten the poly sheets, how to mark and trim the poly connectors, and all of the little tips and trick along the way.
* we do not drill into any of the pipes *
What do I need to purchase separately?
You will need 2x4s for Roof and Wall Kits (for rib framing), clear silicone,
What tools do I need to complete it?
You will need a circular saw, a jigsaw, a drill driver, a wood drill bit the size of your pipe framing (spade or forstner), aviation snips, rubber mallet, tape measure, square and marker,
For best results
Your pipe frame should be straight, on very level ground, and you should have a totally clear area where you are working (although we clearly didn't meet any of that criteria).
